Does RO waste a lot of water?
Modern residential systems are far more efficient than old ones — typically 1:1 to 2:1 reject ratios. The "waste" water is just concentrated tap water, safe for plants.
Will my water pressure be okay?
RO systems include a pressurized storage tank, so flow at the dedicated faucet stays strong even during use.
Do I need a whole-house system too?
RO treats drinking water at one tap. If you also want chlorine-free showers and scale-free appliances, pair it with whole-home filtration and a softener.
